You can delete your Unsent account, along with every diary entry, memory, and photo you have written, at any time. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

Delete from the Android app

1. Open the app and tap "Settings" at the top right.
2. Tap "Delete account".
3. Review the details and tap "Delete".

Delete from the web

1. Sign in, then open "Delete account permanently" in Settings.
2. Follow the instructions, type the confirmation phrase, and delete.

What is deleted

• Diary entries, memories, photos, and videos
• Drafts, style notes, and the dictionary built from your diary
• Partner sharing, AI app connections, and notification settings
• Sign-ins on all devices

Operational logs are kept for up to 90 days for incident investigation and then deleted. Diary content is never kept in those logs.

About subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription automatically. To stop billing, cancel it first under "Subscriptions" in Google Play.

If you cannot sign in

If you cannot sign in to the app or the web, email us from the address you registered with. We will verify your identity and delete the account.
