Write a diary

Even when you write from ChatGPT or Claude, your diary is saved to your Unsent account — not stored inside ChatGPT.

Your words pass through the AI (ChatGPT / Claude) and are saved on Unsent's server. Nothing stays inside the AI.

Works even on ChatGPT's free plan. Note: developer mode can only be set up in a web browser — not the mobile app — so do the initial setup on the web.

Open settings

Open ChatGPT in a web browser, then from the account menu at the bottom left, open "Settings" → "Apps (Connectors)".

Enable developer mode

Open "Advanced" and turn developer mode ON. This is required to add a custom MCP server.

Create an app

Click "Create app" at the top right and enter the following.

  • Name: Unsent (any)
  • MCP server URL: enter the URL below exactly
  • Authentication: OAuth
  • Client ID / Secret: leave blank

Sign in (first time only)

On the authentication screen, sign in with LINE or Google.

Done

When using it, attach Unsent from the "+" to the left of the input box before sending.

Connect Claude

Unsent works in either of these Claude environments:

  • Claude Desktop
  • Claude (web)

The steps are the same in both. Claude requires a Pro / Team / Enterprise plan.

Open the connector settings

Go to "Settings" → "Connectors" in Claude and choose "Add custom connector".

Add a new connector

Enter a name (optional) and the URL below. OAuth settings can be left blank.

Sign in (first time only)

A sign-in screen appears automatically after setup.

  • Sign in with LINE, or
  • Sign in with Google

to authenticate.

Done

Once authenticated, Claude and Unsent are connected. You're all set.

Things to know

  • •Sign-in is only required the first time
  • •ChatGPT requires developer mode to be enabled (browser only — not the mobile app)
  • •The connection may need to be refreshed roughly every 7 days
  • •Long analyses can take time (up to about 60 seconds)
